5 Things for which You Should Thank your Ex

Breaking up is one of the most painful things that a person has to face in life. Letting go of all the moments, memories, love and hope is a task that you never want to accomplish. Yet, you have to go through the pain, forget whatever happened and move on. Considering a break up as the end of life isn’t really the right thing to do. In fact, it’s good that you don’t find yourself trapped in the chains any more. You should thank your ex for making you a better person, helping you to know what’s right for you and so many other things. So, let’s list out the 5 things for which you should thank your ex:

• For Bringing Out the “Lover” in you!
You were never this loving, were you? There must have been times when you were surprised at yourself for being so loving and caring. Well, you have been at your loving best, it was just for the wrong person. So, you are now introduced to the wonderful lover dormant inside you! You can now go on and spread the love and innocence among your friends and well wishers!
• For Teaching you the Difference Between Right and Wrong
You now know what you want to fight for. You know that you must argue for saving your self – respect, to prove your worth! You know what’s right in you and you don’t have to let anyone else tell you that it’s wrong. So whoa! You explored so much about you. Congratulations!

• For Making you Aware of what you want (and what you don’t!)
You now know that you don’t want to date a person who constantly brags about himself/herself. Your caution alarm starts ringing when you see a bragging bastard/bitch around. Also, now you know that you want to date someone who talks in a certain manner and behaves in a certain way and everything. You’ll change your path whenever someone of the category of your “dislikes” falls in it (basically, someone who’s like your ex). So yeah, now you have a clearer picture of what kind of person you don’t want to date, courtesy – your ex!

• For Showing you How it feels when your heart is broken!
You now know how it feels when someone breaks your heart! You know how awful it is, when someone rejects you or chooses someone else over you. That trauma, that pain – you’ve faced it all. You’ll be more careful while hurting someone. You’ll always try to make sure that you never break anyone’s heart. Because you know how it feels, you know it’s terrible!

• For Leaving You!
You must thank them to make you realize that you can live without them, that you have a life of your own, where you can live happily. You had always attributed your life to him/her, but now when they’ve left, you know that you have to love yourself, follow your dreams, cherish your own presence and live a happy life! They’ve imbibed ounces of confidence and strength in you. Go on, conquer the world because now you know what you’re worth!
I am falling short of words for the conclusion. I guess I’ve cheered up some heartbroken folks and made the stronger ones smile because they can relate. Keep smiling.

Do elephants remember

Here’s an interesting story! I don’t usually like these heartwarming stories,

but this one is truly interesting … In 1987, Mkele Mbembe was on holiday

in Kenya after graduating from Northwestern University. On a hike through

the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air.

The elephant seemed distressed, so Mbembe approached it very carefully.

He got down on one knee and inspected the elephant’s foot and found a large

piece of wood deeply embedded in it. As carefully and as gently as he could,

Mbembe worked the wood out with his hunting knife, after which the elephant

gingerly put down its foot. The elephant turned to face the man, and with

a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments.

Mbembe stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled. Eventually

the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned, and walked away. Mbembe never forgot

that elephant or the events of that day. Twenty years later, Mbembe was walking

through the Chicago Zoo with his teenage son. As they approached the elephant

enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Mbembe

and his son Tapu were standing. The large bull elephant stared at Mbembe,

lifted its front foot off the ground, and then put it down. The elephant did

that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.

Remembering the encounter in 1987, Mbembe couldn’t help wondering

if this was the same elephant. Mbembe summoned up his courage, climbed

over the railing and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to

the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again,

wrapped its trunk around one of Mbembe’s legs and slammed him

against the railing, killing him instantly. Probably wasn’t the same elephant …

Little Johnny asking what do these words mean

Little Johnny comes home from school one day and asks his mother what “shit” meant.

Thinking fast she replied “food on the table”.

Next day he comes home and asks his mother what does “son of a bitch” mean.

Again, thinking fast again she says “It’s a priest”.

Next day he comes home and asks what does “fuckin’” mean. She says it means “getting dressed”.

That same night a priest was coming over for dinner. Johnny is just finished setting the table when he hears the doorbell ring.

He yells “got it”. He opens the door and says “Hey son of a bitch, shits on the table and mom and dad are upstairs fuckin’”.
